EOS significa: Evolución de lo suave.

EOS lip-balms are made out of 100% natural ingredients, and 95% of them are completely organic. They are composed by olive oil, coconut oil, jojoba oil, shea butter and sunflower oil. This mixture enhances hydration on the lips and provides an important amount of vitamin E to keep them soft, smooth and conditioned. The sweet flavor and delicious smell are product of natural additives (mint, strawberry or pomegranate) and fruit extracts. One EOS lip-balm can be with you for 3 years after you open it (36M) thanks to natural preservatives: Limonene and Linalool.

Review: Olay - Pro-X Advanced Cleansing System

Cambia tu rutina de limpieza: Olay Pro-X Advanced Cleansing System  ofrece una opción asequible y efectiva para limpiar profundamente tu rostro de manera profesional, en casa.

A group of designers and dermatologist, along with Olay, developed this great exfoliating tool that allows us to keep our skin junk free. The new cleansing system is a rotatory brush with two speeds. The bristles of the brush are soft and flexible, they move depending of the borders of your face and get to every corner of your skin. The system is sold with two AA Batteries, a gentle cleansing scrub, and a brush, -which is also sold individually, replaceable for a new one-. (I saw in target they also sell it with a makeup bag, I got mine at Walgreens) The price is around $20 or $30 dollars.
Un grupo de diseñadores y dermatólogos, junto con Olay, desarrollaron esta herramienta exfoliante que nos permite mantener nuestra piel limpia. El nuevo sistema de limpieza está conformado por un cepillo giratorio con dos velocidades. Las cerdas del cepillo son suaves y flexibles, se mueven en función del relieve del rostro para llegar a todos los rincones de la piel. El sistema se vende con dos pilas AA, una crema limpiadora exfoliante y un cepillo -que también se vende por separado, es reemplazable-.(Vi que en Target viene con una bolsa de maquillaje, yo compré la mía en Walgreens) El precio es alrededor de $ 20 o $ 30 dólares, lo que es 40.000 o 60.000 COP.

All you have to do is apply the Olay Pro cleansing scrub, or your regular cleanser to your damp skin (I use La Roche Posay Effaclar Cleanser), and then turn on the brush, select a speed and start exfoliating in circular motions. I place the brush for 30 seconds on each side of the nose, chin, forehead, and just 15 seconds on each cheek and the jawline. That's just 2 and a half minutes for a prefect complexion.
Todo lo que tienes que hacer es aplicar el exfoliante en crema que viene con la brocha, o el gel limpiador sobre la piel húmeda (yo uso La Roche Posay - Effaclar). Luego enciendes el cepillo, seleccionas una velocidad y comienzas a exfoliar con movimientos circulares. Ubico el cepillo durante 30 segundos en cada lado de la nariz, barbilla, frente, y 15 segundos en cada mejilla y el resto del rostro. 2 minutos y medio en total.

My experience with this brush has been more than fulfilling, I use it a couple times a week, or whenever I need my skin to be the perfect canvas for makeup. It leaves my skin soft, silky and like new! It removes flaky skin flawlessly, which makes a perfect canvas for makeup. You must try it, as many have compared it with similar systems (But way more expensive) and still prefer the Olay system.
Mi experiencia con esta brocha ha sido más que satisfactoria. Deja la piel suave, sedosa y ¡como nueva! Elimina áreas de piel muerta sin problemas, lo que hace que la piel quede como un lienzo perfecto para el maquillaje. La uso un par de veces a la semana, o cada vez que necesito que mi piel luzca perfecta, como de imagen publicitaria. Espero que llegue pronto a Colombia, porque es un excelente producto, muchos le han comparado con otros similares (pero mucho más costosos) y prefieren el sistema de Olay.

Target, CVS, Walgreens Beauty Haul

This summer I let the shopaholic inside of me indulge a lottle -Like a little but a lot- . Today I'll share the first part of my US Beauty haul while I was traveling between Nevada and California (oh, and more California).
Este verano dejé salir a la shopaholic que llevo dentro, hoy les mostraré la primera parte de las cosas de belleza que compré en mi viaje a US.

1 and 2 Olay - Pro-X Advanced Cleansing System And Replacement:

Is an exfoliating cleansing brush with two speeds that leaves your skin squeaky clean and clear, I'm in love with this one, it was just $30 and it gets the best results. You can expect a review very soon.
Es una brocha exfoliante y rotativa con dos velocidades que deja la piel súper limpia, me ha encantado, solo costó $30 y logra los mejores resultados que he visto en mi piel. Pronto habrá review completo.

3 - Walgreens - Sunscreen:

I bought this for the mere need of it, in the summer. It gives good protection and has a good price ($3). Now I use it for going on my weekend bike rides.
Lo compré porque lo necesitaba en el verano, da buena protección y tiene un buen precio ($3). Ahora lo uso para mis paseos en bici el fin de semana.

4 - Aquaphor - Eucerin:

This is a healing ointment that immediately restores dry, cracked, opened skin, helps it heal and protects it from the environment, You can apply it even in your lips. I love to use it as a deep skin treatment, you can expect a review very soon.
Es un bálsamo que mejora inmediatamente la piel seca, y abierta. la protege del ambiente. Puede usarse incluso en los labios. Me encanta usarlo como tratamiento profundo para la piel. pronto tendré un review completo.

5 - Vaseline - Total moisture:

I got this as an emergency moisturizer, it was $1 and did it job just good.

Two great products in fun size, that contain the protective and conditioning benefits of argan oil perfect for traveling.

A small palette that contains brow powder, brow gel, a brush and tweezers. All you need for perfect brows in a small space. It was $4.
Es una pequeña paleta que contiene polvo para cejas, cera para cejas, una brocha y unas pinzas depilatorias. Todo lo que necesitas para lucir cejas hermosas en poco espacio. costó 4 dólares. 

9 - Eucerin Skin Calming Cream:

A moisturizing, light and effective daily cream.
Una crema ligera y profundamente efectiva de uso diario.

10 - Carmex:

A very effective healing lip-balm. If you have sore, dry, cracked, chapped lips, a dab of this will make them feel like new.
Un bálsamo curativo muy efectivo. si tienes labios secos y abiertos, un poco de esta formula los hará sentir como nuevos.

11 - CVS Tea Tree Oil:

In the states, this almost magical oil costs less than $10.
En Estados Unidos, este aceite con propiedades casi mágicas vale menos de $10.

12 - Wet'n wild White Eyeliner:

I needed one for highlighting and defining my eyes, this one has been incredible, it is blendable and subtle.
Necesitaba uno para contornear y acentuar mis ojos, este ha sido increíble, se mezcla fácilmente y resulta sutil.

13 - NYX Two timer Eyeliner:

One end is a felt tip high precision eyeliner, and in the other end it is a pencil eyeliner. What else can you ask for in an eyeliner?
Una punta es de fieltro y alta precisión, y la otra es un lápiz delineador. Se pueden conseguir varios efectos sólo con esta herramienta.

14 - Sally Hansen Salon Effects Nail Decals:

One of my favorite products in this haul. Each of this boxes contains 13 nail stickers that are meant to be sticked on bare nails, fitting them properly with an orange stick and a nail file (all included in the box). And just like that, you get a perfect unique manicure in record time. Each box was about $10.
Uno de mis productos favoritos en este haul. Cada una de estas cajas contiene 13 stickers para uñas que se pegan sobre las uñas (sin esmalte), haciéndolas encajar con un palito de naranja y una lima de uñas (todo incluido). Así, se puede conseguir una manicura perfecta y prolija en tiempo récord. Cada caja costó alrededor de $ 10.

Emerald Bay State Park

In one of my recent trips, I got the chance to visit Lake Tahoe in California. When I asked at a visitors center for an specific place to visit, they Immediately suggested Emerald bay, which is this beautiful Bay section located on the south of the lake.
En uno de mis viajes recientes, tuve la oportunidad de visitar el lago Tahoe en el estado de California. Cuando pregunté en un centro de visitantes por un lugar especifico para visitar en el lago, inmediatamente señalaron Emerald Bay, la cual es una Bahia ubicada en el sur del lago.

Emerald Bay is a National Natural landmark in the States, and contains the only island in the entire lake, Fannette Island. I begun my walk from the top with this amazing view:
Emerald Bay es un parque natural de los Estados Unidos, y contiene la única isla en el lago Tahoe, la isla Fannette. Empecé mi paseo desde la cima con esta espectacular vista:

You get to park the car here, But the walk from here to the lake can take like half an hour, so you should be prepared with snacks and water. In the walk you could see smiles in all the visitors faces, it was a calm, pleasant trip.
 Se llega al parque en carro, pero se debe dejar parqueado en la cima, desde ahí la caminata hasta la playa toma alrededor de 30 minutos, hay que ir preparado con snacks y agua. En la caminata se podía ver a todos los visitantes, de todas las edades, muy sonrientes, fue un paseo muy tranquilo y placentero.

  When we got to the shore, I was expecting to get inside the lake, but it was SO COLD that I could barely submerge my feet for a moment. There were a lot of ducks, squirrels, and pinecones. The trees are old, tall and big, the park is really nice, a dream place.
Cuando llegamos a la playa, esperaba poder entrar al agua, pero estaba muy fría y solo pude meter los pies por unos instantes, habían patos, ardillas y pinos, los arboles eran grandes y viejos, el parque en general es muy lindo, como un lugar de ensueño.

Saw this unexpected flower and couldn't help myself but take a picture.

Also, Here was the place where I took my now Iconic Picture, That appears in my Twitter and Google+ . The Sky was soooo Blue and perfect. Promise me that if you ever visit -Lake Tahoe you'll go to Emerald Bay and take lot's of pictures.

En Emerald Bay tomé la foto que ahora tengo en Twitter y Google+. el cielo estaba perfectamente azul, Realmente es un lugar hermoso. Prometan que si van al lago Tahoe, visitaran Emerald Bay ¡y tomaran muchas fotos!

Por otra parte, el empaque es hermoso, me parece que solo por esta fragancia ya vale la pena conseguir la cajita, pero aún quedan muchas sorpresas más.

GIORGIO ARMANI - Acqua di Gioia 1.5 Ml

Esta fresca fragancia es especial para recargar y mantener tu energía durante el día. Giorgio Armani busco capturar la esencia de la isla de Pantelleria en este aroma,  pues es el lugar donde recarga su energía.

LANCÔME - Genifique Advances Serum 7Ml

Sérum que aporta juventud visible a la piel mediante la renovación celular. Promete reducir la apariencia de las arrugas, aumentar la vitalidad, claridad y uniformidad del rostro.
